The Virgin Islands Council on the Arts invited author Mario Picayo to present his best-seller A Caribbean Journey from A to Y (Read and discover What Happened to the Z) and to talk about the process of creating the book. A standing-room only audience enjoyed the presentation, and had the opportunity to buy the book and get it dedicated by the author. During the visit to his old home town, St. Thomas Virgin Islands, Mario also read from “A Caribbean Journey”and answered questions to students at several elementary schools. His busy schedule included a book signing at Dockside Bookshop, and a couple of presentations on radio and one in the ever popular television show “Face to Face” with Addie Ottley.
