Campanita Books and Little Bell Caribbean publisher and author, Mario Picayo participated in the children’s literature events at the Havana International Book Fair 2011. Mario spoke about his projects with the English speaking Caribbean, and the importance of bilingual children’s books. He also met with many local writers and publishers to learn about the local publishing industry. With over 150 yearly children’s titles, plus several magazines dedicated to young adults, and hundreds of adult titles, Cuba is the largest book publisher in the insular Caribbean.
