The gorgeous Villa Hakuna Matata on St John, U.S. Virgin Islands gracefully open its door for Governor John P. de Jongh and First Lady Cecile R. de Jongh’s to greet contributors and friends to their literacy initiatives. The reception acknowledging the support of individuals and corporations was a beautiful event with great food, superb views and the presence of people dedicated to the improvement of their beloved U.S. Virgin islands through education, and particularly literacy. Publisher and author Mario Picayo was one of the guests invited to say a few words. Four books published by us were selected as Featured Titles for the 2011 Governor de Jongh’s Summer Reading Challenge.
