Over one hundred thousand fans of adventure and fantasy gathered at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City to meet their favorite writers, illustrators , actors and each other. Lasting four days, the event draws sales in the tens of millions of dollars and serves as launching pad for new products and sometimes even new careers for promising upcoming talents. Artist Alley, where some of the best illustrators in the business hold court is one of the most popular areas at the event. It is here where we caught up with Pablo Picayo, illustrator of Four Wishes for Robbie, who paused briefly for a quick chat.
